Hello, Kevin Delaney here. Over my career teaching history at Wayland High School, Massachusetts, hundreds of students in my USH classes made digital stories, short biographical movies featuring older Americans' life stories in the context of their times. Sadly, the website where most of these films were once hosted went defunct. Now retired, I did my best to save as many of them as possible and want to make them available to the makers and their featured families.
If you see a movie on the list below and want a copy, email me at kmdelaney1963@gmail.com and I will get you the goods.
At the time of their creation, most of these films featured elderly family members who are no longer with us; perhaps this offers you a chance to visit with a departed loved one, a friend, or someone else important in your life. Reach out and I will respond promptly.
***2023 UPDATE! Thanks to the work of WHS senior Davis Gruber, just about the entire film collection are again available below. Simply click the light gray title of the movie you'd like to watch and yesteryear will play.
